SX-440

SX440 is a half-wave phase-controlled thyristor type
Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) and forms part of the
excitation system for a brush-less generator.
In addition to regulating the generator voltage, the AVR
circuitry includes under-speed and sensing loss
protection features. Excitation power is derived directly
from the generator terminals.
Positive voltage build up from residual levels is ensured
by the use of efficient semiconductors in the power
circuitry of the AVR.

SX-460

SX460 is a half-wave phase-controlled thyristor type
Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) and forms part of the
excitation system for a brush-less generator.
In addition to regulating the generator voltage, the AVR

MX-321

The MV range of generators is of brushless rotating field design,
available up to 3.3kV/50Hz (1500 rpm, 4 pole and 4.16kV/60Hz
(1800 rpm, 4 pole) and built to meet BS5000 Part 3 and
international standards.
All MV generators use a permanent magnet generator (PMG)
excitation system incorporating the MX321 AVR. Detailed

AS-440

AS440 is a half wave phase controlled thyristor type AVR
and forms part of the excitation system for a brush-less
generator. The design employs Surface Mount Technology
(SMT) for high integration of features in a small footprint
AVR.
